January 3
January 30 - 6:00 pm - Three Hierarchs/Greek Letters Celebration - St Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, Paramus, NJ - the event is sponsored by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of NJ to celebrate the work of the Greek School students and teachers. Complimentary dinner will be served. Come join us as our Parish honors Mrs. Bea Stavrakas, Greek School. January 31 - 9:00 am - Godparents Sunday - Orthros - 8:00 am; Divine Liturgy - 9:00 am - please have your children invite their Godparents to worship together at the Divine Liturgy. Please contact angelaferreira@embarqmail.com if you would like a formal invitation to send. After the Divine Liturgy, there will be fellowship coffee hour. January 31 - 11:15 am - noon - Fellowship Room & Clean-Up - following joint church fellowship hour. Please bring a change of clothes so we can clean up the kitchen and fellowship room with our Methodist brethren. Bring your own gloves, cleaning supplies, and paper towels. January 31 February 6 - First Saturday of Souls - 9:00 am - please submit names of your beloved deceased to Fr. George for commemoration (first names only) February 6 - Mardi Gras Apokreatiko Glendi - 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm - Hunterdon Hills Playhouse, Clinton. Invite your friends and relatives to our second annual Mardi Gras celebration, sponsored by the Philoptochos. February 20 - Parish Oratorical Festival - following the Divine Liturgy for the Third Saturday of Souls - the GOPHC will hold its annual Parish Oratorical Festival for religious education students in grades 7-12. Please encourage your teen to review the available topics and participate. This is a wonderful opportunity for our children to grow in their faith and teach our community what the Lord means to them. March 21- Annual Spring General Assembly - following the Divine Liturgy. Details to follow. July 2-3-4 - Sixth Annual Opa! Big Fat Greek Festival - celebrate Independence Day Greek Style at Razberry's Banquet and Conference Hall, Route 12, Flemington, NJ. Our Festivals have been such smash hits in the past, our fans have asked for three days, so this year we are giving it a try. Please stay tuned for more information.

Classes
The Parish offers Greek Language classes from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm every Monday at the Patrick McGahren School (Clinton Twp) for children K through 12.
