Water Baptism

Water baptism is the immersion of a believer in water as a public declaration of their faith in Jesus Christ. It symbolizes the believer’s identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus (Romans 6:3–4). Through baptism, a believer demonstrates repentance from sin, cleansing by God’s grace, and a commitment to live a new life in Christ. It is an outward expression of an inward transformation and obedience to the command of Jesus (Matthew 28:19–20).
